Discuss The Beguiled

Jesus Christ... Well, what do you say to a film like this? It was certainly something very different for Eastwood, and it certainly made me uncomfortable many times. I'm not really sure whether to call it a good or bad film, but certainly odd.

R.I.P. to the sweet Elizabeth Hartman, who played Edwina, who struggled with depression and took her own life in 1987. Geraldine Page, who played the head mistress, passed just three days after her. They were said to have been in touch throughout the years.

End result of any flick that tries to pass Eastwood off as an actual actor, capable of expressiveness

That was not really my main problem, it was more the plot in general and how his character basically wanted to bed everybody in that school, getting him into more and more trouble without realizing how much of an oaf he was.
