Discuss My Husband's Not Gay

Item: My Husband's Not Gay

Language: en

Type of Problem: Bad_image

Extra Details: The poster uploaded by aaron meaney has a very bad aspect ratio of 2.01 which is way too high (past even 1.66). Also, I do not believe it is actually from the special "My Husband's Not Gay", notice the text reads "Are You Married to a Gay Man? 10 Signs Your Husband Might Be Gay" and not "My Husband's Not Gay" (i.e. the title of the special). As far as I can tell the image also cannot be found anywhere on the internet in relation to the special (using a google image search).

(I uploaded a poster of the title as it appears on screen in the special, it's a little chopped but it should be a better poster.)

Thanks for your report! slight_smile

I found the poster on a page on pinterest -> it's definitely wrong and I deleted it. open_mouth

Oh no, please don't upload a cropped poster like this one! Cropping text is a no-go; you have to come up with a better solution. Also, it's better to have no poster than a bad one! smile_cat

Note taken. Thought

However, posters with an aspect ratio between 1:1.33 and 1:1.67 are allowed, especially if the poster can't be cropped without destroying the image and/or cutting text or logos in half.

Meant that it was still okay, as long as all the letters remained discernable.

(EDIT: though now that I look at it, one of the letters actually is indiscernible)

No, I always delete images when text on that image is cropped in any way. It just looks bad ... rat

I tried to add a poster for this entry but there's not much content online for it so the media is hard to do anything with. I suspect given the backlash TLC got for it, it looks like they basically scrubbed their website with any mention of it. Not sure if the one I added is worth keeping... shrug

I think it's okay! grinning
