I saw the trailer in theatre.... wow... looks pretty bad... gives the impression of it being a very "worthy" type of movie... Not compelling...

"Worthy" generally signifies a film that has a good point to make, but is a bit of a chore to sit through because it's kinda dull. I'd imagine "Moonlight" falls into that category. (Not seen it, so could be wrong). The TGS trailers have made me think "bright colourful musical with a side order of a message of tolerance" so I'd disagree it seems "worthy". I guess it depends on your tolerance for musicals!
I'm hoping it will be as much fun as Gracey and Jackman's previous collaboration: Lipton's Iced Tea - Tokyo Hotel.

yeah... i got a feeling from the trailer that it would be a victim narrative... unlike the lipton ice tea commercial you linked to 😉

Frankly for a musical it was fine. And the "victim narrative" plays a very small part in the overall movie. In someways this movie is more about Classism than victimisation. But if your looking for the real life story of PT Barnum. This isn't it.

As most musicals do, this is a pretty fantastical look at the subject. No, it's not very real but the dance, scenery, and music is pretty top notch
I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see and if you have any thoughts or criticisms, i'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/8_-6y44Ueio
