The film started out really strong as we see the story of the cold queen who wants to be a mother. But, when the storyline diverged into the three separate threads: The aged woman who wants to be young out of lust, and the virgin youth who wants to have a husband, I think the plot quickly became overcrowded. Each individual story thread is individually compelling and grapples with a variety of issues, but all of them mixed together makes for too much for a single film to handle.

I think in the end each individual story thread did not get its due. The film could have been separated into a trilogy, then each story thread could have the gotten attention they deserved.
