Any Indiana Jones vibes?

Yeah, I thought it was a bit slow but also have to agree I was always intrigued by it and Hunnam did a fantastic job in the lead role.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here- https://youtu.be/pqGSrSwmQ7s

Did they find the city, or is it still lost?

It's Cinematic!

You owe it to yourself to watch this on a big screen... You need for the Jungle to have that scale, and to be surrounded by the darkness, the sounds... to be in solitude, away from distractions so you can let the movie wash over you as you embrace it's tempo and let it run it's course... It's both a sensual and intellectual experience...

It's old-school filmmaking... the emotions are real... whether the drama and tension comes from interpersonal relationships, politics, economics or survival... it feels sincere, a non-ironic, non-meta, non-franchise making, non-approval seeking film... Just a simple but layered story told, masterfully, with nuance and sensitivity...

It has so much texture, not just from the cinematography, but also from the narrative and dialogue... It's very different from movies made nowadays...

I had underestimated James Grey again... I never thought he'd be able to make a movie of this calibre that wasn't set in some urban environment... He's so good and I can't wait for his next movie...

Totally agree with @Renovatio - it wasn't what I was expecting, I was prepared to be disappointed and I wasn't at all. Much more thought provoking and carefully paced than I'd anticipated, but it sustained my interest and enjoyment throughout.
