Wow. What an entertaining western. Obviously they're exploiting the sex appeal of Welsh including a gang rape that's strangely comic. But outside of those quibbles -- it sounds a lot more horrible as I type it -- I found it a strong western. Culp is unrecognizable as a bounty hunter with a thick beard and glasses. I suspect they wanted Steve McQueen or Eastwood. But he does the job. The thrill of the movie for this oater fan is seeing Borgnine, Elam and Martin as the baddies. They light things up straight from the first look at their filthy faces.
