Saw it years ago, it's a typical Hammer film. I can't remember whether I liked it at the time so if I remember I'll give it a go tonight.
By the way Mon-Star, thanks for reminding me every Saturday! 👏

I did watch & yes I have seen it many times. I will say that it isn't one of the best of the Hammer films. It's just ok.

I just watched this on TCM though I had seen it years ago. I think it was well-done and a respectable re-boot to the Frankenstein legend for Hammer Films. I was also reminded how striking Hazel Court is, such a beautiful scream queen. 7.5/10

Court was not bad looking to be sure. But she kinda looked a little average and even though she was from England she actually looked like a plain average middle aged American lady. Many would say that is not strange given that so many American ladies are English or Irish descended or some other British nationality. Probably one third of all American white ladies are this nationality somewhat. But I still find it strange Court does look so much like such a lady when she was born in the UK and they have an often strange look to and unique to them.

The English have Iberian peninsula roots too. See my postings.
