Source? English style rules do NOT overrule official titles.

Oh really? Ok. What would be an acceptable source?

I meant more like the official distributor/production company. I'll look to, but was on mobile before, which makes it harder.
The poster does use A capitalised though. (if it is an official one)

So, it's an old movie and original stuff is hard to find. I'd still say it should stay capitalised, as all the VHS releases also have it capitalised:

Doesn't following the letter casing on posters and box art (and even onscreen titles) mean that a lot of films would/should be entered into the database in all caps though?
Like the onscreen title in the trailer is all caps (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRssFVb7p7A) and on some of the DVD box art (http://www.yosemite-sam.net/DVD_Covers/Small-When-A-Stranger-Calls-Back_small.jpg) which is reproducing the style of the original film's poster (https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/45964-when-a-stranger-calls/images/posters).

Yeah, all-caps is the exception, haha! Unless ALL CAPS title is specifically used in promotion, such as the original title GHOST IN THE SHELL, as it's the title used in the Japanese promotion. (English translation is just Ghost in the Shell though).
