Anyone else agree? This is my second favorite horror movie right behind Halloween.
GREAT horror movie. I agree with the 2nd poster about how realistic it looks -- like a documentary, really. That makes it a lot more frightening, because I always feel like the artifice that you get with most movies isn't there. It feels like that stuff is really happening.
I've never seen a sequel or reboot or whatever to this film that I liked. I never saw the point in people bastardizing and cash-milking a truly great, unique film.
Our haunted house one year had a barn ending where you go through a maze of wooden fence posts and he would start chasing you once you got towards the middle a
I definitely agree, the feeling of dread you get right from the very beginning and the raw, gritty atmosphere make this genuinely scary. The original Night Of The Living Dead is also similarly effective.
This movie scared the shit out of me as a kid. I would have to say that it's my absolute favorite horror movie ever. My second choice is Rosemary's Baby. They definitely don't make 'em like they used to.
