I was really loving this movie until the end when the director just copped out and had Bosworth explain everything in a monologue (who even talks to a kid like that?) It was just so lazy, it felt like the director decided the audience was too stupid to figure it out themselves. Especially since I had been able to piece together 90% of it before hand (identity of the canker man, why the canker said he will always be with the kid). I wonder if the studio made him do it?
