I take these with a pinch of salt as I thought that the critics blew Nebraska and (especially) The Descendants way out of proportion. But this does sound intriguing.

I don't know what movie these critics watched, but I truly detested Downsizing. I saw its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday and it is one of the most disappointing films I've seen in quite some time. I'm a huge Alexander Payne fan and this felt nothing like a Payne movie. Brace yourself if you didn't like Nebraska or The Descendants because this is next level bad.
