If you believe the film was originally released as "Mindstorm" in the US I'm going to need some proof. Who was the first American distributor? When and how was the film first released in the US?

This film is a production of "Unified Film Organization"/"U.F.O.", a company of its producer, director and screenwriter Philip J. Roth that is dedicated in sci-fi material with Cinema, TV or straight-to-VHS productions. His biography in "Wikipedia" that says everything about his company and his relation with other film production companies, in filmography has "Mindstorm" as its title and not the alternate one.
In Hellenic VHS you can see in front and back the label of that company, so our "Audio Visual" distributor got the rights from that company.
In Spanish "Cinefania Network" they have "Mindstorm" on his filmography.
In "IMDB" they have "Mindstorm" as the first title and "Project: Human Weapon" as the secondary that is written in video box (VHS or BETAMAX).
In "MoviecollectorOH" they have only "Mindstorm" title.
In "Film Reference" they have protagonist's filmography and they mention "Mindstorm" as the first title and "a.k.a. "Project: Human Weapon" in parenthesis. They do that because they mention the distribution of "First Look Home Entertainment" that is a company specialized in home video releases and not in theater, therefore this title emerged LATER.
There is another sci-fi feature film that was released the same year (2001) with the same title and "Wikipedia" says "It's not to be confused with Project: Human Weapon (aka Mindstorm) starring Judge Reinhold, released in the same year.", therefore in physical media distribution they changed the title to avoid further confusion. It would be weird if the opposite had been happened. I pressume that the editor mentions first "Project: Human Weapon" to make the difference more understandable to the readers. They don't have register that film yet.
