Alita is a far better movie and a far better female character than CM,

The one common thread I'm seeing in this repeated bitching is detractors comparing Captain Marvel with Brie Larson, please learn to separate your actors from their jobs. Now Alita is a digitally enhanced CGI Pinocchio like character somehow I didn't feel the same feminine warmth from her as I did from Captain Marvel, but I'm sure Alita was good anyway.

The problem there is you haven’t seen Alita. It was fantastic and she definitely is a fully flushed out and emotionally engaging character. I won’t slam CM as I haven’t seen it. I will say I saw nothing in the trailers that excited me and what I’ve heard about the Skrulls in it worries me but I’ll reserve judgement until I see it.

I heard that the Disney executive in charge of fraudulent ticket bookings (real job in troll world) wasn't paying enough attention and accidentally bought tickets to Shazam showings instead of Captain Marvel!

It's funny that if you criticize something with a woman in it you're called an incel. And if other women say it sucks then they are just ignored. Nope, adding a woman to anything makes it critic-proof unless it doesn't tow the feminist line like Alita, and movies like Alien or Terminator are handwaved away even though if they were made today feminists would say it sucks because those movies don't totally demonize the men in them.

I saw Infinity War and the scene where all the female characters are in the same shot was jarring because it didn't make sense for the scene and was obvious pandering. Like, did they plan the meetup? When? Why? Why wasn't there an adjoining scene with the male characters? Funny how equality only counts when it's to serve feminism, ie socially accepted sexism.

Captain Marvel is a badly written character played by a smug annoying actress and the release of the deleted scene where she goes full supervillain on a guy who offered her help is a clear sign that a woman hurting a man who did not assault her is supposed to be entertaining while if the genders were reversed there would be epic reeing on social media and outcries of sexism (because sexim only matters when it happens to women don't you know).
