I used to go to those boards every day, themoviedb is the closest I feel I’ll get to a replacement for it. I can only Imagine what the IMDB boards of endgame would be.

Same as every other IMDB movie board: 90% trolls ranting about "plot holes", 5% trolls talking about how much they want to have sex with the most wildly inappropriate characters ( for example, Cassie Lang) , 3% spammers promoting websites where you can get illegal downloads of Endgame and other movies still I the theaters with the remaining 2% being people who just want to talk about the movie, and approximately 87.5% of the posts being dedicated to bashing "fanboys" or "Marveltards"

I agree. Trying so hard to get into Reddit but the downvoting is so annoying. I loved that IMDb did not have a voting system.

You just need to shop around. Significantly more discussion for Endgame at moviechat:-

If you look at any of their individual film boards, there seems to be more activity than anywhere else...

I think IMDB (owned by Amazon) came under pressure from the studios to limit or stop the negative comments about their new releases. My guess is had the owner of IMDB said "no, we're keeping the forums" many studios would have pulled adverts and marketing from the site. IMDB would lose ad revenue so they chose to axe the forums.
A small Movie DB userbase may be for the best. If this site were as popular as IMDB the forums could spiral out of control with endless trolling, hateful comments, really negative posts about many studio releases. If people want to post negative comments, fair enough, but we don't need pages of it filling up many boards! IMDB fell victim to that and it would be a great shame if that happened to The Movie DB.
Another example: The Hollywood Reporter had a comments section for each article. You could log in and post about the article/news item. People started trolling, going off-topic, posting abusive comments. THR axed the comments section a few months ago.

I'm here from the IMDB boards..same username and everything..in fact, one of my FRENEMIES is on here too..we'd always fight over the Jurassic Park series (of all things)...it was hilarious! He still can't get over the T-Rex's defeat in JPIII and calls the Spinosaurus names! hahaha

Jorgito2001 is the biggest and most legendary troll from IMDB and he came here and he's still desperate only because JP3 is an abomination and because the T.Rex who were in JP3 swas just a juvenile (fact). The adult T.Rex absolutely destroyed and killed the Spinosaurus aka THE GIANT DUCK.
Hilarious! Hahahahaha!

I miss the old IMDB boards and I'm still confident they are gonna be back sooner or later.
IMDB chossing to close them makes absolutely no sense.

No, it makes perfect sensw. IMDB is owned by Amazon and exists for the sole purpose of selling movies. The fact that all the movie boards were always dominated by trolls hating on the movie was hurting profitability, and since the moderators were incapable of controlling the situation the only option was to shut down the boards, which is what they ultimately did, no doubt after trying and failing for years to do something less extreme.

THERE HE IS! Ya doofus, how are ya?
And WHERE in official canon or from the filmmakers did they say it was a juvenile Rex in JP3? Post a link, otherwise your full of as usual!
And when you say the "adult" Rex..did you mean the one from the original JP1 in Jurassic World that >gasp< crushed through the Spinosuarus BONES?!?! Not much of a fair fight was it?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHA..jokes on you. And the Rex STILL got its a$$ handed to him by Indominus...so much for T-Rex Supremacy! Needed a Raptor AND a Mosasaur's help!
OK, back to your regularly scheduled program!
