SPOILERS BELOW.

When Dr. Hulk did his reverse snap, he was told to wish that all the people Thanos killed had been alive for those 5 years. It's like they were never gone.

I don't know how they explain the fact that 5 years elapsed between Avengers movies, and they're still in high school though.

It's because absolutely everybody from that particular school got snapped away by Thanos. A bit like absolutely none of the main Avengers got snapped away but in reverse...

I'm sure it will be explained in Spider-Man Far From Home. Endgame was already a 3 hour movie, adding a scene explaining this would when they knew they would have a whole movie to address the post Endgame fallout would have been overkill. Spider-Man is the last movie of phase 3 and NOT the first movie of phase 4, as such, I think it will function as a kind of epilogue to Endgame.

Me & my teens were talking about this and still couldn't really come up with a good answer...definitely a potential plot hole:

A. HALF the school gets snapped away.

B. Those who were spared, aged 5 years (ie. no longer in H.S./ Graduated)

C. Those who were spared didn't HAVE school due to the snapture (lack of teachers, etc)..so arguably, the spared can pick up in school where they left off..but would STILL be 5 years older then those that were snapped away.

D. EVERYONE in Peter's H.S. was snapped & continuing class as if nothing happened (what are the chances of this though?!)

I have a feeling this won't be explained thoroughly in Far From Home..it'll have the Hollywood logic of "everyone is back, PERIOD, let's go from there..begin story"

How is the school still operating? 3 billion people got snapped and returned in 5 years. It should be total anarchy or at the very least martial law not school trips to Venice. Endgame does not make any fuckin sense.

I would think ALL schools globally were unfit to run for SEVERAL years..no telling how many teachers also vanished. The "undoing" of the snap 5 years later would cause all kinds of new issues (not to mention plot holes), but I'm sure people like Gus Gorman will just move on & just sit their fat asses at the theater and claim "best movie ever" while a drumming Octopus in Aquaman shows why all DC movies are shite!
