Never gonna happen but his comment may get him some free publicity for his forthcoming election campaign!
"What would be truly heroic is if Disney used its profits from Avengers to pay all of its workers a middle-class wage, instead of paying its CEO Bob Iger $65.6 million — over 1,400 times as much as the average worker at Disney makes," Sanders tweeted,
I wonder if most Avengers fans are Republican or Democrat?

Bernie Sanders could sell his 3 houses and give the money to the poor and live in a cheap efficiency.
I'm so sick of phony Champagne socialists who insist " a millionaire lifestyle is okay for me, but not for thee."

Not gonna choose a side, but the hardest working ones are those ones in their own theme parks...clean up people, operations, cast members...always smiling and making sure guests have the most memorable experience! A small bonus from these profits would be nice!

According to the internet (so you can decide if it's true or not!):
I can imagine it's cheaper if they use foreign animators for their tv shows like Star Wars Rebels and Resistance.
I guess Sanders is talking about people at the bottom scale of the Disney Empire. But that's true of any big or even small business. The people doing the more menial jobs get paid the lowest amount. Not sure 21st century socialism will ever change that.
I doubt Bob Iger is worth his huge salary but he helped negotiate the Marvel acquisition in 2009 so he would say "I brought Marvel to Disney and made huge profit so I deserve my salary." I'm guessing he'd justify it like that. Put it another way, if Disney Marvel and Disney Pixar films all flopped then Sanders would have a stronger argument about his high salary. Apart from Solo, the Disney Star Wars films have all been big hits too so more reason for Iger to think he's worth his crazy high salary. Just don't mention The Lone Ranger, Mars Needs Moms and John Carter! All epic Disney flops under Iger's watch.

Its really simple. How many people in the world are qualified to be CEO of Disney? 40, maybe 50 people worldwide MAX.
Now how many people are qualified to work at Wlmart? About 7 billion.
That's why CEO"s earn billions but Walmart employees earn pennies.
No amount of socialism can possibly repeal this basic law of supply and demand.

Bernie is smart because he can say anything "I'll lower carbon emissions, increases taxes on the rich, stop Wall Street corruption, break the Trump wall (assuming it ever gets made!) blah blah blah" and I reckon loads of anti-Trump voters will fall for it. Trump said crazy stuff to get elected - Sanders has to be the anti-Trump candidate. Just say the complete opposite: "free health care, reduce the military budget, reduce carbon emissions, new green taxes, imprison Bob Iger for crimes against the Star Wars franchise
, release the video of Trump in that Moscow hotel" and he'll get loads of votes.
Will he deliver on his pledges? Perhaps not but politics can end up being about who shouts the loudest. If Sanders can shout out his policies in a louder and more convincing way than Trump, he has a chance of winning.

Nobody complains when stark makes billions from commissions from selling gasoline and energy bills. And he never pays any taxes.

WHY WHY WHY. Do people have to bring in politics on a movie board? BTW, having 3 houses in your 70s is not considered exceedingly wealthy. By then you are most likely married and your parents have died (on both sides) and you have inherited their homes. Do you think Jeff Bezos thinks Sanders is rich with his 150 billion? MUHAHAHAHAHAHA! Buddy, you don't know what rich is. I remember when John McCain was running for President he lost count on how many houses he had. Now THAT'S rich. I've lost count on how many pairs of socks I own and that's about it. I can tell you exactly what I have of everything else including a house (1).

Bernie Sanders is a multi millionaire and a member of the 1% who insists that millionaires are evil and the 1% should be destroyed He's a hypocrite.
Democrat hero Sam Rayburn once said the any politician who leaves office with more money than he had when he entered is a criminal and a crook and his corrupt. That describes Bernie Sanders to a tee. There's no way a guy who has never held a job in his entire lifetime could be as rich as Bernie Sanders is honestly he got rich by being a lying bastard.

Again, the guy has been in congress for 40 years making around 200k a year. If you cannot accumulate "multi million" by the time you are in your 70s then you got a serious gambling problem. He also made money writing a book. Welcome to the 21st century where a couple of million bucks ain't shit. Man, you are lost of you think a guy worth a couple of million bucks is a scammer. Did you just step out of a time machine from the 50s? I take it you are not from the coast. A million bucks buys you a 2 bed 2 bath in parts of CA and NY. My point? A million bucks ain't shit today.
