I just finished watching the 1-hour version of this on PBS (apparently this was originally a 97-minutes production, before editing length for PBS broadcasting) and found it very interesting and enjoyed it. Definitely inspiring.
Sounds very interesting. I'd like to watch it, if I can find it. I've always wanted my own vege garden, but am no gardener. I have trouble keeping pot plants alive. Something like this might inspire me.
I always find anything about reclaimed, repurposed sites or structures to be fascinating and inspiring. It's really neat taking an abandoned, desolate location, in an urban-blight area (or on a large rooftop, or a vacant city lot), and adding life and vitality, and a positive sense of community, via it. I'm a town dweller, though find stuff about other people's experiences, and their prevailing in challenging situations/environments, or during difficult times, interesting and uplifting. As for gardening, I used to be really good at it, and fully re-landscaped my property years back, but now just like hearing about or watching others do it.

I'm considering table top vegetable gardening so I can avoid a lot of stooping and bending over. As with everything else these days I turn to the internet for information.
