It was ok........but I just think it was entirely too long and drug out. I was a bit freaked out by all the talking "underwater" . Make sure if you go see it to stay once the ending credits start rolling...........
Refreshingly not too dark. Lots of the comic moments here and I'm grateful. More Wonder Woman than Batman and that's a good thing. Should be a huge success.
Overall I really liked it. It had a strong plot and cast. Obviously very visually well made. My biggest issue was the dialogue. A lot of it was just so cringeworthy. I think they could have done a better job with that. But aside from the dialogue it was a solid film. I still say DC is the stronger comic book brand.
I thought this movie was ridiculously dumb, corny and the music and dialogue were terrible. Saying that, I enjoyed the heck out of this movie, it was a lot of fun to watch, and the action scenes were epic! I absolutely loved this movie in spite of its flaws. Way to go DC, hope you keep it up.

You want them to keep up dumb, corny movies with terrible dialog? This is how we got the crap CBM of the mid-late 1990's. This is not something we should be eager to return to. Should moviegoers keep paying them for mediocrity, when we now know that the studios can do better? What incentive would studios have to do better?

When the cast is obviously enjoying themselves while making the movie, they transfer that joy to the audience. This movie is a prime example that a movie doesn't have to be great to be enjoyable.
Saw it in IMAX 3D. The action was good, and so was the special effects. The acting I thought was pretty good, and the story was well...one I'm not too familiar. Because of that, I was fasinated with all that was going on and the movie to me was more of a roller coaster ride spectacle than something to be taken too seriously.
As I mentioned before, I liked it. I can't remember most of the plot now (except how the hell did Nicole Kidman end up in that place in a white lobster outfit?), but it was good.

Now that DC are copying the MCU formula they'll see more success with their movies critically.

I liked it. I usually am more of a MCU person (I loved Wonder Woman), but Aquaman was pretty decent. A bit confusing, but I enjoyed myself.
