Most of the pre-movie hype has been positive so it may well be a hit, but I'm not sure whether it will be a record breaker. It's got a long ways to go before anyone can say that.

I think you missed the sarcasm. Also, Gus tends to ridicule fandom by co-opting the issues they tend to complain about and weaving them into his sentences as satire. Does he REALLY object to the overuse of CG in Aquaman or is he just trying to bait the types of people that usually talk about it on TMDB? Hard to say. But yeah, he's asserting that the movie will have a record amount of CG, not that the movie itself will break any revenue records.

Ah, I see. Most of the time, I try to take people on chat forums at face value and not assume they are trolling or baiting people. Thanks for setting me straight.

Yeah they should have actually shot this at the bottom of the Atlantic. Such shame.

Dont know about record breaking but I think it will be DCs top grossing film.

Its gonna be a MASSIVE hit with the female audience..I have yet to meet a woman that doesn't find him "hot"...factor in James Wan as director & this movie is A. gonna be good. B. gonna be a hit!

Its also good they waited a long while between this & Justice League..distance itself from that a little.

This looks like the most uninteresting comic book movie ever. I think The Flash could be fun though.
