WB/DC probably wish they didn't rush their universe

Will history repeat itself or will they take their time and not rush their projects. After Avengers Infinity War breaks the box office, I sure hope WB recognizes how world building should work. So far getting rid of Snyder and getting Whedon means they learned something. They kinda screwed up by using ''death of Superman'' , " Dark Knight Returns'', & Justice League stories so early in their World. Those shouldve been saved for storylines down the road where they would hold more weight with the audience.
James Wan, Joss Whedon & Patty Jenkins are huge pluses . Now its all about putting out good solo movies & planting seeds throughout them. They still have darkseid which is their ace villain. I think they should use him exactly like Marvel did with Thanos. After JL put him in movies or atleast reference him.
Leading into JL2 DCU should have atleast 5 or 6 quality solo movies with majority of the league. Aquaman, WW2, Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, AND Mos 2. Cyborg movie is not a must imo as he can be utlitzed in other heroes movies like Flash. The audience needs to experience what all the characters are about before JL2

Been saying this ALL along. Would've been good if Flash, Aquaman and even Cyborg got their own solo flick...keep them simple (low budget is fine..as long as their entertaining), THEN bring out Justice League...JL was way too rushed. I'm confident WB/DC has learned and are taking steps in the right direction with the next two (Aquaman and Shazam) One a darker film (helmed by horror meister James Wan) and the other much lighter (the Shazam poster reeks of a lighter tone)! Add in Wonder Woman '84 (the 80s are all the rage nowadays with Stranger Things, IT, etc) and I got a good feeling DCEU is on track to right the ship.
I know I'll be watching ALL theatrically (grew up reading DC comics..never cared for Marvel as a kid)!

Whatever they decide to do it better be well thought out and planned. Because what they are doing now just isnt working with anyone, fans or the general audience. I've never been a fan boy of either DC or Marvel, just a fan of good films. And right now DC is definitely lagging behind. Hopefully Wan can start the change that DC needs.

You know what I have not watched Aquaman but I have watched infinity wars I guess other superheroes get popularity when they put all superheroes together in one movie.

I think putting Superheroes together in one film just makes them all less "super".
It worked for Marvel (probably because their characters, e.g. Iron Man) were definitely less iconic pre MCU but I just wish DC had concentrated on making quality standalone Superman (Man of Steel II), Batman & Wonder Women films rather than rushing to copy the MCU.

Yes, I agreed and its more interesting watching all the superheroes in one movie together fighting with the enemies. Actually, there should be more villains in the movie like they put many superheroes.

There is no hope for the DCU. Warner destroyed it completely with JL. They should just start over because the current franchise sucks ass and has no hope of ever being a coherent cinematic universe. They lost their Batman and Supes, the base heroes. It's a shame they did not let Snyder make his vision. Just start over and concentrate on Batman. Stick to what works.

Going to humbly disagree until Aquaman AND Shazam are out. Although it bugs me they more then likely lost Ben & Henry..especially Henry, was watching BvS the other night & he truly defines Superman in look & tone.

I think Aquaman will be the deciding factor for the DCU. Its either going to break the DCU or its going to help it rise from the ashes!

Its just a typical Marveltard reply. Have you seen any of the movies? or even read the original comics for that matter? I'm willing to bet your gonna be front row for the farce known as Captain Marvel..JUST cause it has "Marvel" name attached to it. Meanwhile the character could've been played by a piece of wood from the looks of it. And does anyone REALLY care about THAT character?! She's a throw away character no one even knows..FACT!

I'm not a Marveltard. My favourite hero is Batman and yes I have read the comics too. I love Man of Steel and I was looking forward to BvS and the DCEU but sadly it all went downhill. Warner knows it's a mess they clearly have no idea what the fuck they should do with it now. They now have 2 jokers for fucks sake. It's a complete and utter mess. That said I will watch both Aquaman and Shazam just because I like comic book movies. And think whatever you want about the MCU but that is a working shared comic book universe, much more coherent than Warners crap.
