There are so many characters in this - introduced in the most simplistic way - that you cannot possibly remember who they all are or what relevance they have to the paper thin plot. As is usual with Austen - the story revolves around money grubbing rich husband seeking women who always seem to get what or who they want in the end. If you can stand the most horrendously stilted dialogue usually conducted with two people walking around either the house or the garden and a beyond silly plot then this is the film for you.

Nothing spectacular, just a 90 minutes period drama wih people acting silly while seeking to marry for love or money, or both. So, your usual soap drama, only shorter and everyone wears a period costume. I kept on watching and waiting, hoping that Lady Susan would turn into a vampire, but alas there were only wedding bells.
