It was a very good spin on the 80s slasher films and definitely deserves more recognition.

It really does! The ending was great and has so much potential for a sequel I really hope it's done.

Well, looks like there's not much love for it on here, I'm giving it a rewatch now...!

Right! They'll probably never make a sequel. Still one of my faves!

Agreed. It had a great original idea that played with the 80s slasher films very well. Not to mention all the emotion that actually came with it. I mean I teared up a little at some points. But the last act was pretty weak IMO. If you loved this I suggest you take a look at Tucker and Dale vs Evil. A really great horror comedy. In fact a cult classic at this point I believe.

Housebound was also a great but relatively unknown film - a fun take on the haunted house theme with a few surprises...

Housebound is really good to. Comedy/horror. But the New Zealand accents are hard to understand at some points. So you have to pay extra attention in some areas. But still a fun watch.
