Is it's grey, it's because they are locked. Note that we use keywords a bit different on here. On IMDb everything you can think of is entered as a keyword, even generic things like "camera" or something. What kind of keywords would you have added?
In the future, please use the "report" button when reporting something that needs to be fixed/deleted or otherwise looked at.
There will be a contribution bible coming soon, and this is for now what the important things are about keywords:
Keywords should be chosen carefully, around 5-10 keywords for TV shows and 15-20 keywords for movies is reasonable
Indiscriminately copying keywords from IMDb is a bad idea
Quotes, taglines, titles, actors, characters, etc. should not be keywords (but something like "animal lead" "father daughter relationship" is fine)
There is no need to add movie genre as keywords (ex: comedy, drama, but something like "psychological thriller" is fine, as that is not a genre you can select on TMDb and it does say something about the film)
Keywords such as “3d”, “based on novel”, “woman director”, “duringcreditsstinger” are allowed
Technical keywords shouldn't be added to the TV section unless it can apply to the whole series. (ex: no 'woman director' unless the whole series was directed by a woman)
Translated keywords are not yet supported. No non-English keywords (unless they are words commonly used in English), foreign language keywords can be reported and a mod will take a look
Keywords should be objective. No opinion or judgment.
Have to be added on by one (ex: "superhero" then "los angeles" not "superhero, los angeles")
Use already existing keywords when possible (ex: "mini-series" not "miniseries" or "tv mini-series")
Non-relevant keywords will be deleted
Spoilers will be deleted
Pornographic keywords should only be added for entries set to adult:true
I see you've deleted quite a lot of keywords recently,
Maybe I should add that moderators will delete unneccessary keywords. Please don't delete every keyword you think is redundant.
Keywords like "gay sex", "gay youth" and "abuse" (if fitting) are allowed btw, they're not pornographic or anything.
Hey--something like 99% of them are keywords I'd added to entries, and I'm finished with my undoing streak ... Thanks for letting me know. You're probably tearing your hair out about me. Sorry.
New here...don't know where else to put this. Could someone do a poster image in the new Disney layout, example link Marvel Disney Blu-ray layout
I've seen all MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movies in this layout except Deadpool
thanks for your answers.
"x-men film series" was a listed keyword. It was used by about 30 movies and series. Until my request, it was probably a valid keyword. Well, not anymore. Very sad. Still, the movie is locked for editing.
Other keyword examples: "dc comics" or "marvel cinematic universe" (actually production companies, but listed as keywords like "x-men film series")
Thank you for your support.

So keywords on TMDB are more like the key ideas of the movie? I'll have to go back and make changes to my edits.
For Deadpool, I'd probably add "assassin".
Noted re: report button. Thanks.

Maybe try creating a new topic in general? A reply in an old content issue topic won't reach many users.

in case it wasn't clear from Banana's answer:
