Discuss Kong: Ostrov lebiek

There are some world class actors here. But NONE of them (except John C. Reilly) had anything to do or say.

Not one memorable scene (acting wise). Also no compelling story.

I am not impressed by flashy CGI if there is not a good story for it to support. This film failed hard for me. 5/10

Basically , the cast (except y) are just ok , although Samuel L. Jackson made a good impression of a neurotic, obsessed obsessive offical. But , in fact , John C. Reill made a good job , and it's ironic that people was complainning about his caracter because of traillers.

Agreed. Other than Reilly and Jackson I don't even know why the movie felt they needed a cast of this caliber.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. https://youtu.be/g8hwq5Xx-_E

Not to mention all the time it must've taken to train that giant gorilla.

The bananas alone cost them a fortune.

When sam Jackson said "hold on to your butts" I spilled piss all over myself and nearly woke my brother in law sleeping peacefully in the next room

i was just about to make this thread.

although i think Reilly's character was the worst offender. the others are mostly just underwritten.

What'd you have a jar of urine just randomly sitting next to you when you watched it?

... and at your sister's home, no less.

That's what I was wondering, I assume he needed to piss really bad but didn't want to miss a moment of the movie. Luckily he had jar with him.

I find SLJ's character to be way to one-dimensional to be believable; He gets hell-bent on killing Kong, even after it was explained, by a guy who had been living there and surviving for 40 years, that Kong was defending both his territory and the humans living there.

No....he had to get revenge, wasting even more lives in the process....guys like that would never make it in the military, even less making it trough a war like Vietnam.

CGI was 'better', but they still cannot make believable gravity and mass and movements.....the end-scene still look like two cartoons fighting in the jungle.

The best part of the movie was that it wasn't too long, other than that, it was bland, at best.

Brie Larson's boobs had a 10/10 performance.

It's that strap across her tight tank top!

I keep telling everyone.

OMG I know, right?

Best part was the soundtrack!
