Discuss Terminator: Dark Fate

Did anyone ever do the Terminator Universal Studios Show/Ride/Experience?

It was made right after the popularity of T2, and it was actually an amazing show! If anything they should have somehow done Dark Fate like that show. I know Sarah and John are both old as F now, but what was cool about that Universal Studios show was that Sarah and John traveled into the future to stop the terminators from coming back to present day, it was a complete 180 from all the other movies. You as a spectator sitting in the audience felt 100 times more in danger and more vulnerable that way!

I know he has his HATERS on this site, but don't forget the attraction was ALSO directed by the man himself, James Cameron! probably had a LOT to do with the quality of it and why it felt like a TRUE Terminator sequel!

I'm an Annual Passholder at the Florida park and did the attraction often, ESPECIALLY once my kids were old enough to watch T1 & T2 (MAN do these movies hold up well!!! No question!) they took some liberties for the sake of time, comedy and "family friendliness" (they ALL time-traveled FULLY CLOTHED..lol..and a T-1,000,000...couldn't they find a better model#?) But it was a great attraction that is sorely missed at Universal Orlando (they're putting a Jason Bourne stuntshow where it once stood)

I did go on the Universal Studios show/ride back in around 2000 with a buddy of mine. It was a fun experience and it kinda renewed my interest in the Terminator franchise. I loved it.

Saw it once. It was great. At least we can still relive it on youtube. Better than Captain EO.

WTF James Cameron is the MAN! Who would hate on him?

WOW did you just tell me that they turned the Terminator show into Jason Bourne show? That's a horrible decision. Jason Bourne is no where as iconic as Terminator and its not like they are making several more?

You know what really made me sad was when they got rid of that one ride that went through all the old hollywood classic movies from Singing in the Rain to Alien, that ride was awesome! Then like a year ago I went back to ride it and they turned it into Transformers I think?

That wasn't Universal, that's the evil mouse corp aka DISNEY! And the Ride you're thinking of is "The Great Movie Ride" in Disney's Hollywood Studios! I too loved that ride, but its going to be a Mickey Mouse Run Away Railway Ride...I guess today's kids don't want to go through "old fogie" movies the Boomers only care about..they want more MICKEY shoved up their asses!

Holy SHHHH! I stand corrected you are right! Damn why did I get that mixed up with Universal? Yes that ride was so nostalgic! Like seriously one of my all time top rides ever! I only got to ride it once, had I known they were gonna replace it id ride it like 10 more times on my last visit to Orlando. I totally agree iconic old Hollywood is far superior than another crappy mouse ride come on!
