I enjoyed this movie, I'll certainly watch the next film (if there is), but... is it really necessary to chew the same stuff all over again?
Now we have Dani as the future leader of the resistance instead of John; Legion instead of Skynet; what next - Legion will send more and more terminators to kill Dani, while Dani and Sarah will search for a way to destroy Legion? What's the point of sticking to the same plotline and the same concept?

They laundered the universe through Dark Fate as a soft reboot, swapping out the tired old names for the exact same things under new titles, and swapping out the white male saviour for a strong female minority. The hope, it seems, is to make money on a dead franchise, by appealing to the post-modernist woke culture.

Looks like it's gonna flop domestically, opening under 30 million. Unless the worldwide box office is decent there won't be Terminator 7. I doubt our favourite killer cyborg will be back.

Never say never. There wasn't going to be a T6 after Genisys but still this managed to appear remarkably quickly after that!

Opened with 29 million. Will probably need the international box office to save it from termination!
