Item: The Huntsman: Winter's War
Language: en
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Please fix the description. The dashes are used incorrectly. This is better:
"As two evil sisters prepare to conquer the land, two renegades, Eric the Huntsman and his forbidden lover, Sara, set out to stop them."

I think this one is good, as it indicates that it is.. somewhat.. related to snowwhite and the huntsman :p

I don't think that matters too much, and imo the " " are ugly.
This has been the overview ever since 27/01/2017 (although, I added the in snow white blabla part latter, because the aided snow white part didn't happen in this movie, and it confused me as heck.
Far as I see, every cinema (london, australia) and such lists it as: "(...) two renegades - Eric the Huntsmen - who previously aided Snow White in defeating Ravenna, and his forbidden (...)" so I don't see what is wrong with the dashes. Maybe it's just another case of american/britisch/australian and whatever other types of English there are.
But if you prefer to add different stylization you can override it locally in your media center. _^

Have to say I agree, a pair of dashes works like a pair of brackets and as two renegades are mentioned, they should both be in the same "bracket pair":
As two evil sisters prepare to conquer the land, two renegades - Eric the Huntsman, who aided Snow White in defeating Ravenna in Snow White and the Huntsman, and his forbidden lover, Sara - set out to stop them.
The comma before Sara is slightly extraneous, but Snow White should definitely be two words. I'm torn as to enclosing film titles in inverted comma pairs but slightly lean towards using them as it is then immediately obvious that the second use of her name isn't referring to Snow White "in universe" (could also use italics or bold). Maybe there should be a TMDb style guideline that people could be pointed out (to no doubt ignore)?

Style guide +1!!! :-P
I'm not too familiar with all those English grammar/spelling tidbits, as I'm Dutch (and there's all different English types), so I usually go with what the official distributors/cinema's use! :)
Let's wait for other mods about the grammar/spelling issues :P

Fair enough. Though I reckon a lot of places just copy and paste from a press release/whatever head office send them, so any error in the original copy will just get duplicated down the line.

True that, I only fix the obvious mistakes (character names misspelled with what is shown in movie for example)

I'm not a fan of the current overview, but I fixed the dashes because yikes.
