Hanuman was revered by M'baku and maybe the Jabari tribe. This apparently was deemed as offensive and was censored in India.

I googled Black Panther India and found a bunch of articles. "Hanuman" is the Hindu monkey god. While there isn't anything disrespectful in the movie, India's censors took it out because religious depictions of any sort tend to inflame viewers who don't agree with those depictions. Think of all the protests from religious groups in the USA over The Last Temptation of Christ, now scale it up to a billion people. Just by portraying a religious figure in a non traditional way, you're opening a can of worms. At least that's how I interpret the CBFC's decision.
