Its kinda sad that two Jewish Guys made a more compelling Black Protagonist than a Black Writer/Director.

Not sad at all. The idea that only black people can tell black stories authentically, or write black characters, is inane an idea as that only white actors can play Shakespearean parts. Authentic stories transcend colour and religion and gender because they address the human condition.
Having said that, the idea that this mashup of Lion King and a Bond movie is any kind of compelling is a bit of a stretch. In another time, I expect all these absurd 'Africanisms' will look as dated and bone headed as the 'darky iconography' of a century and more ago.

To be Fair Christopher Priest Black Panther was quite good too. And he is black. But he hates the fact that people always trying to pigeonhole him as a "Black Writer" and somehow hes only qualified to write "black characters" . Frankly im surprise more people don't feel the same.
