It's currently outpacing The Avengers. I kind of expected Infinity War to finish somewhere between Age of Ultron and The Avengers. It would be weird if it did.

Those will bring it up to about 50/50, which is lower than any other Marvel film.

Black Panther is well on its way to becoming a billion-dollar baby, and it doesn't even have the biggest foreign markets in its total. On the domestic front, it’s passed The Lion King, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to become the No. 17 all-time release to date.
BP still has China to come on March 9 and advance ticket sales are on par with Spider-Man: Homecoming which opened to $69M last year. China’s still a wild card, but the overall momentum of this movie is seen pushing it above $1B worldwide

China will be the deciding factor I think. Will it hit 1 billion before its cinematic end run? More than likely, but that will be due to the domestic market, not the foreign one.

As the trailers for Infinity War seem to suggest BP and Wakanda will play a major role there may well be a lot of MCU virgins who went to see BP purely out of identification for the characters who stick around. I doubt that the sort of people who are swelling the BP numbers to cement their "non-racist" credentials will bother, though.
Aren't the Chinese supposed not to watch Black-centred movies? Could put the brakes on BP's worldwide success that isn't likely to affect Infinity War. So kinda hard to tell!
I'm in England and most of the people I know who are interested thought BP was "entertaining", but are stoked for Infinity War.

Which part of this contradicts anything I said? BP will make over 600m, possible 700m at the US box office. It will make less than that at the international box office.

Ugh 700 domestic dosent look like it will happen. I mean its only at 435 right now and will continue to drop. 600 maybe if it pulls a Jumanji and gets the amazing word of mouth but I feel like the people that wanted to see it have already. China is the next big release so lets see if the mouse buying for Chadwick Boseman to be their 'number one black actor' award BS paid off.

Black Panther is predicted to gross 62m this weekend, comfortably ahead of these 600m+ films, and only behind TFA, which made 900m.

Internationally, the Wakanda crew is still running well ahead of Doctor Strange, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 and Thor: Ragnarok. Overall, it’s at a current 56% domestic versus 44% overseas split. And China has still to open on March 9 where advance ticket sales are on par with Spider-Man: Homecoming.
And Before that you said this:
You've said a lot a double speak.
You went from US: 600 m
Foreign: less than that.
Currently, $80 million separates the markets, , and that's not counting the big Asian markets that haven't opened.
Anyway, I fail to see how this bears any importance. The end game is the almighty worldwide box office, with Friday's total at $786 million with many new markets to go.

As of now its at $501 domestic. $600 looks possible by the end run. Only $398 foreign but China might help that out a bit. Definitely looking like 1 billion by the end of its run for sure. Unless China completely hates it and pulls it after a week or two like Star Wars.

I don't personally expect BP to finish ahead of A:IW for the very reason that BP is in A:IW. The MCU is NOT the DCEU where WW makes more than Justice League but WW also is in JL. The DCEU is so damaged that DC and WW fans refused to go see JL?
A:IW will do quite fine both domestically and internationally if the movie is good to great. If not A:IW will tank. And even then A:IW would then still land in the $800 Million to $900 Million bracket. Marvel/Disney has just that kind of momentum going for the brand.

The film is at $531M domestic and is crossing $500M at the international box office this weekend, bolstered by a strong start in China where it’s now at about $49M after two days. It looks as if the international is going to overtake the domestic, which is all good.
BP box office is at $1 billion -- as of Friday.
