So the actuals came in at 242m. Currently at 426m worldwide, and it has yet to open in China, Japan and Russia. A billion looks like a foregone conclusion at this point. So Marvel studios will have two billion dollar films in one year. A feat that DC has yet to achieve with any film, or even come close.

Oh how sweet.

Why the hate for DC? A comic isn't a comic? Forever, the only comic movie that was getting play was Batman. What's changed?

I don't think anyone hates DC (though some might for some weird competitive reason). I just didn't like how the WB has treated those properties so far. My only hope is that the WB heeds the losses and gets their act together. I want all comic book movies to succeed in the long run.

Gotcha. Makes sense. There's plenty of documentation on how Marvel is doing it. It's not a secret. The question is, when will audiences tire of the formula? Will there be time for DC to figure out how to draw from this well before it runs dry?

But, I hasten to I'll say: DC succeeded beyond Marvel with Wonder Woman, while Marvel fans have been begging for Black Widow to headline her own movie, and are tickled that the Wasp is gaining attention/focus. Is there anything on the horizon for Black Widow? If not, they are missing a moment.

Marvel just got a screen writer for a Black Widow film, so it's in the horizon.

It's about bloody time!

Marvel fans have been begging for Black Widow to headline her own movie

Have they though? Really? I wonder who they will cast for the Black Widow movie(if it ever actually gets made).

The article linked above speaks to your questions, in addition to how audiences have responded to Wonder Woman and Black Panther.

Wonder woman was as dull as fuckk. What the fuckk are you smoking? Yeah, she's the first cinematic superhero with a vaggina in her own film, fucking hell!!! Get a grip.

How old are you? Actually, never mind, don't answer. In fact, just don't waste your time addressing me at all, I'm not going to be engaged at a schoolyard level.

You just engaged in teenage schoolyard wanking over Gal Gadot in this very thread.

No, I didn't. Nor did I wank over Gal Gadot anymore than anyone would refer to any main character in a movie.

How many Die Hard movies have been made? Is it waking when people fill theatres to see Bruce Willis as John McLane?

Stop projecting your crap.
