It looks ok, I guess. I'm seeing way, way too much CGI.
He came across perfect in Civil War. Why mess with it?
They're not really messing with it, they're fleshing Wakanda out to be more like the comics. Wakanda is supposed to have far more advanced tech then the rest of the world (they're 50+ years ahead) due to their research and use of Vibranium which they have sole custody of its source (a large meteor that crashed there long ago), that's why they keep their city hidden. If the rest of the world knew what they had, they'd be constantly attacked. The CGI tech was mainly to convey how technically advanced Wakanda is. It looks like the new suit his sister Shuri created is made of Vibranium nano-machines by the way it forms.

That wasn't really what I meant. All that is fine. The CGI could be better but I have no problem with it being used for those things. I'm talking more about Black Panther himself. There's a bit at the end of the trailer where he's jumping on a car in extreme slo-mo and he looks like a cartoon. In Civil War he looked viscerally real, deadly, threatening. I don't see any of that presence here.
I'm interested in Black Panther's background and story. His arc in Civil War was excellent and I'm guessing there's some great political aspects of Wakanda that could be explored here. But the overuse of CGI I find disappointing.

Although I'm not a huge fan of superhero movies, this looks better than the entire movie of Spiderman Homecoming.
