I love the music! Don't have a thing by Run The Jewels.
What did you think about the mashup of the two artists for the BP Trailer, Vince Staples and Gil-Scott Heron? I'm not sure that there are very many who might even know who Gil-Scott Heron is. He died in 2011 and was an influential figure and social/political voice during his time. Coogler was born in 1986 which was 20 years after BP debuted and 14 years after The Revolution Will Not be Televised but nonetheless here Coogler is using his skills and creating a product that will be, hopefully, consumed positively by the masses.
I actually own some of Gil's music, including his last 2 albums for XL Recordings. Don't know a thing about Vince Staples. I didn't mind Gil in the trailer. Now what I did mind about it, was the more flagrant CGI in it.

By the Flagrant CGI I presume you mean some of the action scenes of BP running across the sides of buildings in Seoul? I'm not a viewer who gets taken out of the movie by scenes like that any more than I am with the presentation of Cityscapes that are also clearly CGI or blown-up miniatures.
My thought on Gil-Scott in the trailer is one of narrative curiosity. Does the song represent a POV for Killmonger or T'Challa or for something completely different? I just don't thin it is random. Again it is a lyrical song choice well beyond a large audience both in the USA and of course abroad for it's social relevancy in activism from the 70's.
Kudo's to you for owning Gil Scott media. I still maintain that CA:The Winter Soldier missed a Gil Scott moment by not using Gil Scott's Winter In America as one of the song choices that Sam could have given Steve to listen to. It would have made for a different ending if it were played but I still think it would have been a powerful point in the movie and actually better supported the story narrative.

Nah, man. What pissed me off was that moving shot on a road of some kind. BP seems to hurtle through the air from one vehicle to the next in it.

I can't guess whose perspective the GSH song would be used to express. I'm a total newcomer to Black Panther comicbooks. Laugh if you like. Ha.
