Thor:Ragnarok is quite possibly the best superhero movie of all time - it is funny, good plot and amazing acting and moved the story along really well, involved at least one other Marvel hero and basically changed Thor so much in one movie - from his iconic hammer change to himself changing with lightning and losing an eye to Asgard itself being decimated to Loki redeeming himself for once to the ridiculous (as in ridiculously awesome) music and Grandmaster to all the funny stuff and jokes.
This is how a movie should be made.
IMO, the top Marvel movies made are -

Thor sure did come off pretty nonchalant about losing that eye.

Haha...everyone has their opinion..though I DO agree Thor 3 was a fun ride, just too much comedy (something that racks my nerves in Marvel movies...the worst being Dr Strange..the jokes in there felt FORCED).
I still think Spider-Man 2 is everybit an almost perfect superhero movie...along with X2 & Superman '78...flaming welcome! :)

I keep forgetting about Unbreakable. It is pretty good...! It's just not a Marvel or DCEU property.

I think that's why some, including me, find it attractive. Shyamalan invented his own superhero property and rules from scratch rather than relying on, what, sixty years and literally hundreds of different writers? That's pretty doggone good, especially since he's going to make another film in the series. There's a strong case to be made for an outsider breaking in to the Marvel/DC monopoly with a new property with new rules and ideas. Let's hope he's creative enough to do something really different with the sequel.

I always felt Shyamalan was a pretty good writer. His work doesn't always affect the hoi polloi in an exciting way, but yeah. It would be cool to get a sequel to Unbreakable.

Already in the can and in post-production. It's called "Glass" and puts together the characters from Unbreakable and Split. In fact, there are some behind-the-scenes pics on IMDB atm.

Finally got around to seeing this - what a hoot! Not sure I'd put it anywhere near being the best Superhero movie of all time however I would probably agree that this film represents the best a MCU film can be. I'd also go along with your list of the best MCUs overall, with the exception of Infinity War which really began hurting my bottom in it's last half hour or so.
As for top 5 of ALL TIME I think I'd go:- Superman
Batman Returns
The Watchmen
Spiderman 2
Man Of Steel
Maybe in that exact order but perhaps not.
