I did feel like they were making the story up as they went along, but it was very funny. Asgard looked so much better. Not like a rejected set from Flash Gordon. Thor's outfit looked a lot more natural. But most importantly the humour was such a vast improvement. No longer am I expected to laugh at an Oscar winning actress fainting every time Thor takes his top off like we're in a Carry On film.

I loved the music, I loved the film's look, all those colours, it actually looked like a comic book brought to life.

Taika Waititi is the dude. Any chance of a crossover where Thor battles the vampires from What We Do In the Shadows?

I have come across people disagreeing with using Zep's song but it worked really well i feel.

Yeah, that was great. But in particular I liked the synthy 80s score like this one here:

I liked that it's not the kind of music you'd expect in a Marvel film and just added to the random craziness of the adventure.

But what are you views about the Thor 2011. Do you like that one?

I didn't think it was as bad as The Dark World, I found it just about tolerable thanks to some of the fish out of water humour. But a lot of the jokes I found annoying. I thought Natalie Portman was completely wasted. Her character was demeaning to women and a blank slate.

As I already mentioned above, I thought it had a horrible look. It looked like Flash Gordon but Flash Gordon had the right kind of camp tone to pull it off. This just looked tacky.

The action was very bland, lacking any kind of enthusiasm, impact or style. My pulse was never raised even slightly. Kenneth Branagh is clearly not an action director.

I was baffled by the positive reviews at the time. But a lot of people seemed to like it so I'm in the minority here.
