Discuss Doctor Strange

I originally watched this in 3D and it was SPECTACULAR, especially the scenes in the mirror dimension. It's a shame I'll probably never get to see it like that again.

Excellent cast particularly Cumberbatch, Ejiofir and Swinton. Mikkelsen and McAdams are great actors but aren't given much to do here.

Love the whole film but the final 15 minutes when time rewinds while the main characters don't followed by the "battle" between Strange and Dormammu is excellent! "I have come to bargain" 😁

Dick move from Mordo in the end credits.

I still like the bittersweet end of this more than the endings of many other MCU films. I don't know if I would call it a near-classic again, however. Too much CGI -- I figure I'm sounding like Martin Scorsese on this topic now....

The unique visuals made this. I loved that trippy sequence with all the hands. I need to watch that bit again. Wonder if it's on youtube.

The visuals do a lot for the film, including establishing the MCU's opposite side from the scientific - magic as opposed to the Tony Stark tech stuff that kicked off the films. I actually appreciate the film more for its human drama than for the magical stuff... Stephen's arc is compelling for me, even if it is just a walk around the park from Stark's: two redemption stories.
