There is a saying , "If it isn't broke, Don't fix it"! I have no idea what the Marvel Formula is but Marvel has an overriding structure that they use to create their films. Included in that structure is variation.

Whatever Marvel and Disney is doing it is doing very well for them. Even the lesser and riskier properties have become hit films.

It will be interesting, and I have no comparable way to compare, to see the Media sales and Streaming numbers for Doctor Strange. I don't know why but I think the Dr. will see a bump up from the normal numbers.

Thee movie over performed at the box office and I'm certain Disney are very happy.

Fantastic beasts cost less to make but made more than DS. I enjoyed DS even if they've done the origin formula to death in this Marvel world. Some characters jump into the middle like Black Panther, Falcon and War Machine. Captain Marvel coming. Spiderman too

Dr. Strange was a very good, nicely executed movie and a worthy edition to the MCU for a character and a new chapter to a voluminous set of movies. Not too fond of the premature death to the divisive character of the Ancient One.
