Discuss Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts or knows more about this one.

Nebula mentions pain from her cybernetics. Is she revering to painful surgery and recovery, or chronic pain related to her implants?

Is she really supposed to be chronic pain? I can understand that in our world, those implants would be painful, but surely in the world of the guardians surely pain relief woild be easy. She even mentions her brain was removed and reconnected, so disconnecting or filtering pain from those nerves should be like installing software.

EDIT: Sorry about the subject, I accidentally wrote Nova not Nebula and I cannot edit it.

I thought she meant that whenever thanos replaced a part of her body after losing a fight with gamora , he did it without her using pain relief or anaesthetic
