To be fair, the housing crash was partly the result of widespread greed. Greed on the part of the lenders and greed on the part of the borrowers who had no business obtaining mortgages that were way above their means.
I just mean all the Americans who are in danger of being evicted, due to the pandemic... people are being put out of their homes because they can't pay the rent.
That's right, I don't get spoonfed the doom and gloom fantasy by the fake news media. Instead, I research actual news reporting and talk to actual human beings. Most of my friends are lower middle class liberals and I have no doubt that any one of them would be whining on social media loudly about getting evicted if that ever in fact happened. I work mostly with self-employed people who have real spotty employment and none talk about missing a mortgage payment or getting evicted.
Gee, your sides must hurt from all that vomiting. Is everything in life about left and right for you?!? You need to come off that. Listen well, Mongo Lloyd, there’s much truth to the saying, “When white America gets a cough, black America catches a cold.” You can stay in your fantasy world if you like, but I am not gonna argue with you in social media about cold, hard facts.

There's a federal ban on evictions, but hey, I'm the one living in a fantasy world.

I guess I was in public and getting jerked around when I wrote that post. I didn't know that ban was still in effect. That's good to hear. But you know, many renters are still getting put out.
Of course they are and sorry but people really need to plan better. If people really don't have enough reserves to live without a paycheck for at least 3 months, they're doing it wrong. But hey, a new iPhone every 9 months and an Apple watch are probably more important, huh?

It's still sad, Mongo. (As well as the housing crisis going on right now in the U.S.)

Hmmm... yeah, well, I have yet to hear of a single person claiming they're going to be evicted.

That’s right, you don’t watch television.
