Warner Oland's character uses the odd-sounding term 'werewolfery' several times during this minor but atmospheric horror. Does anyone know if this is an archaic term for the condition of being a werewolf, or something specifically coined for this story? I don't recall hearing it elsewhere.
This is a reasonable effort with mostly dull male characters somewhat compensated for by some hilarious ladies.

I just now did a web search, and apparently "werewolfery" is a real word (a noun), as I found four references to it (one in Collins Dictionary; one on Tumblr; one in The Free Dictionary; one in The Etyman Language Blog). I like the ring of the word, though I'm with you, that I don't believe I've ever heard it used. (PS: To the best of my recollection I've never seen this movie, though may have at some point while growing up.)
