The film is riddled with some of the most cheesiest lines ever. One particular that sticks out for me is:
It's been a long time since I smelled beautiful.
Another is when the bounty hunters are looking for Riddick in the cave at the beginning of the film, one of them goes, "What the shit was that?!" LOL What the shit? Really? WhoTF says that? The writing is pretty bad in this film but I have to admit I still enjoy it and I think mostly because I think it is funny to see well known actors in such a disaster of a movie.

I kind of love all of the Riddick movies though. Something about that cheesiness is part off the charm.

I think they are all decent flicks. But Chronicles makes the least sense plot wise and just how things go down in general in that film. There are a lot of points in the film where you are like, "What the? Who the? How the? Why the?" . I would never classify COR in the "so bad it's good" category. Despite all its shortcomings, it's still a fun film to watch.

Yeah, I haven't seen it in a long time, but I remember how he defeated one of the warriors in the big castle room, in the beginning of the story. And the ruler, or emperor or whatever, is furious and says something along the lines of: 'That was my best warrior'. And Riddick, looking at the dead guy on the floor, replies: 'Well, if you say so...' LOL

I like the Riddick films too. I first came "into contact" with it in 2013 though, with the Riddick movie, but recently I watched Pitch Black, and now I'm watching the second film.
I wonder though, how the hell do they stay warm?! When they're running "above ground" at the Crematoria planet, and it's snowing and, well.. I guess super cold?! How do they not freeze to death, especially with what they're wearing, haha! Well, at least they are on the move... that's bound to keep them warm somewhat.
And hey, I do say what the shit! Guess they had to keep it PG-13 rated~

Pitch black is not a bad little film. They just let the success of that film blow up their heads a wee bit too much and thought they could get away with the crap Chronicles presented and it flopped big time. With a little polish in the writing it could have been huge though.
Actually that was ash not snow. The planet surface burns super hot so that is like ash fall similar to what you would encounter in a volcanic eruption.
Ha ha! You are the first I met who says that but you are right. MPAA only allows one use of the F word in PG-13 movies.

WOW
What an eye opener, I knew it was an hot planet, I just never would've thought of it being ash. It looked so much like snow, but now that you mention it...
Yes, I've read that somewhere, so if you're gonna use it, better make it memorable, haha!
