When Jim told Gus he was awake for a year alone after confessing he woke Aurora up, Gus says, "still...damn." Was he saying:
You were alone for a long time, but still...damn...you shouldn't have woken her up, or
You shouldn't have woke her up, but still...damn...that was a long time being alone.

i interpreted it as the first but idk.
this movie didn't really work for me at all so maybe i'm the wrong one to say.
