Discusión The Silence of the Lambs

So the diamond cut outs were found by Clarice at the victims house, was it Bill that wanted the girl victim to try it on, for him to see, kind of weird he would ask a client to model a larger dress, but I guess he used the alias of a older woman. So he pretended he was also a larger dress size.. The movie seems quite simple, and actually no need for Lector, Clarice just could have checked the girls closet and linked it to Bill. The Clue of "we covet what we see everyday" Doesn't really answer much to lead her to the girl victims house.... Great movie though

Not sure you followed this very well or just didn’t get movie? I’ll try to be nice in explain answers to your ?s or comments.

The dress pattern and/or how dresses made, diamonds, Clarice light bulb went on figuring out that BB was killing larger sized women to cut pieces of skin off to build/create a “body” dress/suit to help his transformation. He was in a sense a seamstress using skin from killed women to create and transform into. None of these women were trying on anything. The senators daughter was being starved in well hole to cut up for other parts of costume he was creating.

The clue of covet was more about BB seeing these big girls around area he was located. He coveted these women since he saw them every day. Partly his transformation into these women he saw everyday.

I also believe there was a direct link and contact at one point in past of Lector and BB.

I’m really not sure what movie you watched or maybe you need to repeat watch it again or a few more times.

Tremendous movie which got awards when it originally went to screen.

Hope that helps or clears things up???

Wow is that how to talk to adults in real life? You have zero manners. Or maybe English is your second language... I'm not sure you can read properly, but again I asked about what was the point of even having Lector, Clarice just could have seen the diamonds on the body, and found the dress.. Bingo

Do you understand that???

Also isn't it weird for BB to ask the victim to try on a dress of her size and cut diamonds out? They didn't explain that at all, usually a client sends their OWN clothes to have altered, plus she never even sent BB the dress to confirm his interest in her large size...

Plus the covet part didn't explain why Clarice went to the victims house and found the dress, she knew he was trying to be a transsexual before that.

Get it??? I'm not sure which movie you watched...
