As explain in our rules, theatrical releases have priority over festival releases to determine the displayed year.

I came here to flag the same issue. This movie was made in 1970 and is quoted as such everywhere. The rule to give precedence to theatrical release over a premiere is silly at best as can be seen in this case (14 year difference). I wasted an hour of my time trying to figure out why your DB is wrong. IT IS WRONG and you are spreading confusion.
