Of course Paul died, but I'm disappointed to not see some conspiracy theories here. Maybe love conquers all and by seemingly sincerely declaring love to his wife his safety was assured.

Alternatively, maybe the appearance of Paul's trouser snake mid-film was a metaphor for his alleged infidelity and condemned him to the certainty of death. Or maybe the entire film was shot in Paul's personal hell due to the aforementioned infidelity.

But alas, looking around it seems everyone is inclined to take this film literally. Now where is the fun in that?

Sounds like you must have watched the Director's Cut.

The director's cut of the mohel's cut?

I'll see myself out.

I must confess, I had no idea what a mohel was, I had to google it.

I too had to google & when I saw what it meant & found myself chuckling/groaning at the humor. I have never seen this movie though.
