I would go with Alpha Flight (the Canadian X-Men). I even thought that right after I saw the movie.

Too bad the movie killed off Logan and Prof. X. They could have been mentors to Laura and the other Transigen kids.

I think it will be alpha flight since they will be in Canada. We also do not know who died at the mansion and who survived. Maybe cyclops happened to survive and started a new school. Or its an entirely new school by alpha flight. We will see.

but i deeply want cable/ deadpool to pick her up. I think having her in xforce would be hilarious and awesome. Deadpool is the fun uncle, to corrupt her, use force first, maybe think later. Cable is the serious grumpy uncle who holds no punches and gives serious military training, and colossus is the always present moral compass..

Frankly the only way i can see this working is if happens 7-15 years after the events of Logan. And not pull some crazy time switching thing that Fox loves to do lately and if it takes itself as seriously as Logan did.

I think the Westchester incident was deliberately left vague in case of future movies. Only several, unnamed X-Men and students died, so X-Men could turn up in the X-23 spinoff.

I would rather see an older Laura, but I guess we'll see what the filmmakers have in mind.

I dont like the idea of an older actress. Like hugh, i want to see this young actress grow and develop this character. Is it selfish and demanding? Yes. But she owned the character in my opinion and to switch i think would be a mistake.

I don't know how good it is on a child actor to play someone who dismembers and beheads people. I might feel better seeing an older Laura for that reason.

If she is older, she could probably become part of Alpha Flight.

Alpha Flight makes more sense since the Transigen kids fled to Canada. They might have been the ones writing those messages into the comics.
