Discuss Incredibles 2

It was a big hit, I saw it last night and came here hoping to read some of the other posts but it’s completely empty. It’s times like this when I especially miss the IMDB boards.

Not inflation adjusted, it's had the biggest opening of any animated film so it's surprising there are no posts/reviews. I guess TMDB fans are not Pixar fans! Perhaps Toy Story 4 will get more interest.

I enjoyed it, and I saw it originally on 08-07-18 at the drive-in. It's been too long since the first and I had only seen the first one one time, so in retrospect it was like watching a franchise for the very first time. I guess I can save those comments for another area for this movie, basically to keep on topic in this particular thread I would have to agree about the lack of posts for this movie. In one way I do miss the IMDB forums, but it was too affluent with trolls, and I also felt the organization of their movie forums were not organized correctly. This one is better in some ways. At least for each movie, there's a subtopic that makes it easy to get to the part I want to read about. And if it's not there; I can create one. On the IMDB forums, I noticed on one page there can be a subtopic asking if it's worth watching it in 3D, and then on the next page there'd be another subtopic asking if it's worth watching in 3D. Then there'd be a subtopic saying that was totally worth watching it in 3D! All of those of course should have been located in the same subtopic.

On many movies I watch and comment on within these forums, there's quite a few times I find myself being the first person to post about a particular movie. Right now I'm going over a list of movies I've seen during the summer and I've already ended up being the first poster on at least two of those movies...and here it is already in October! (Well, it will be October in a half hour for me.) Another words, it's been a few months since I've seen some of these movies and no one has commented on them yet.

I know there's other movie forums out there, which by the way that have much more activity, but I wanted to join a movie forum that had a layout that's more like what I'm used to from other types of forums I read...and it was this one. I figured over time (from when I first signed up) there'd be more posters after a while. I'm sure there is, but it's not in the numbers I was hoping for. Your right; I'd love to see at least about 15-30 subtopics for each movie out there. Except for very few exceptions; that's simply not the case with this forum...at least not yet!

I think maybe it’s cos not too many people know about this sit yet. I’d been lamenting the loss of the IMDB forums last year and just now found this one (yes, I apparently live in a cave).

Another possibility might be that the movie is so awesome (make that frickin’ awesome) that no further discussion is necessary, except to gush about how good it is?

There's some on another thread within this site that are talking there's more posting going on, so the list of fans have grown. It needs more time, but it's happening.

Get to work. Make some questions and build the fanbase up. I have been trying with movies I like and you should do the same. Fill the boards up.

That is what we shall have to do. Spread the Word!!
