After discussing this with some guy friends, we have come to the conclusion that R.L. was horny as hell and that's why he created a super-cute teenage girl to be his constant companion. He complained of being a horribly lonely man. It's every gentleman's dream to have a young, hot, model girlfriend. Of course, as to not arouse suspicion, he'd have to say Hannah was his "daughter" as the disparity in age would look kinda creepy to the neighbors. But behind closed doors, he was twisting that little Lolita up in every position possible and filling her to the brim with his man nectar. There is no question about it. Hannah even admitted that she has repeatedly celebrated her sweet sixteen birthday countless times. What healthy, straight guy would create a supple, nubile teen and then spend all of his time scolding and reprimanding her? Was she created for him to hone his home-school teaching skillz? To get out his aggression via punishments and time-outs? To simply kill time? It makes no sense. He was obviously very jealous whenever she showed romantic interest in the neighbor boy so he was most certainly smitten. When he wrote her character into his magic book, in addition to making her achingly beautiful and sweet, he'd have to also create her to be into him sexually during only certain hours (like midnight to 4 AM for example) and then have her totally forget the coital encounters ever happened during the remainder of her day. Then the process would repeat. She would essentially act like a "normal" daughter for the rest of the world to see and no one would be the wiser. Oh R.L. what a dirty dog!
