Was there a reason why he was the only one not sucked into the books at the end?

I think they had to individually list out each of the monsters on their own when writing the story to suck them back in. They must have forgot to include the Invisible Boy, and he didnt get sucked in when they activated it.

Which means they deliberately included the girl for no reason at all.
