Can anyone explain the single draw 'High Card Takes All' game that Nicky (Will Smith) played with Liyuan (BD Wong) out of desperation at the Football game? I mean Liyuan only drew a 'two of Clubs' (which I thought meant he couldn't possibly win because no card is lower than a 2 of any suit) and Nicky drew a '3 of hearts'. Doesn't that mean Nicky won ?

Just saw this and it looked to me that Liyuan drew the 5 of clubs/spades. Hence why when Will Smith drew the 3 of hearts, he lost (I don't think it matters what suit unless they picked the same numbered card). Thinking back, if Will Smith drew a higher card and won, I'm wondering if he would've kept on playing until he lost to get to the "Pick a player" gamble.
I have to say this was a fantastic standout scene in an otherwise average movie.
